Clean all your furniture i.e. hoover sofas, chairs, mattresses and wipe down tables, this will help prevent mould growth and limit dust build up in your storage unit. 3. Dismantle furniture if possible, this will make it easier to store and create more space in your storage unit. 4. Place your furniture on top of pallets when storing, this helps with the air flow inside your unit. Protect your furniture by coving it over or wrapping it in sheets, helping to prevent any scratches or scuff marks. 6. Wrap any glass or fragile items with packing paper and bubble wrap. 7.
